She died about 1789 in Albany Twp., Berks Co., Pennsylvania. Of French citizenry, one would expect that her name would be Anne Marie Christine, rather than Anna Maria Christina, but the European records clearly show Anna Maria Christina. Some American records show Anna Marie Christine; that combination is most unlikely, Parents: Johann Jacob CUNTZ and Anna Margaretha PFALZGRAF.

The story is written in Annette Burgert's "Eighteenth Century Immigrants from the Northern Alsace". Also a writeup in "The Palatine Immigrant", Winter 1990/91, page 180, incl a sketch of the ship.
(It is noted that a different Johan Jacob Kuntz, with Lorentz Kuntz, arrived in America on the ship "Johnson" from Rotterdam and Deal, England, on Sep 19 1732.)
He died on 15 Sep 1754 in New Hanover Twp., Lehigh Co., Pennsylvania. He was a Shoemaker in Niederbronn, Bas Rhin, Alsace, France. John Jacob Kuntz, shortly after his arrival, followed the Schuylkill River north to the Perkiomen Creek, as did a number of others before him, and settled in what afterwards became Berks County. In the Journal of Proprietary Land Office, under date of March 3rd, 1739, is this entry: "Hans Jacob Kuhns, received in part for land in Colebrookdate, Five Pounds."
Settled in Colbrooksdale, Oley Hills area, of Berks Co. He was an elder of the St. Josephs Oley Hills Church, Pike Twp, in which his birth date of 19 Feb 1692 is noted. Those records show that he was a dental surgeon and tartar (remover?). A far cry from making shoes!
The records of the Oley Hill Ch., on LDS Film # 0941100, state that this Johann Jacob Kuntz, son of Johan George Kuntz, married Anna Catharina Muller, daughter of Johann Jacob Muller, in 1719. This appears to be in error: Anna Catharina Muller married Johannes George Kuntz, born 1665/1655; their son married Anna Margaretha Pfalzgraf.
After he arrived in America, he married Susanna Klein, a widow whose husband had died at sea, probably on the same ship, and had four more children. Per Albert Kunkel and Marvin Koontz.
MONUMENT ERECTED
A granite boulder of respectable dimensions, finished in simple style, was erected over the graves of our worthy forefather and his two wives, in the extreme northwest corner of the St. Paul's (Union Lutheran and Reformed) Church, at Indianland, in the summer of 1929. The funds were contributed by descendants of the venerable Father Bernhard Kuntz and dedicated to his memory and that of his family, in loving kindness and with appropriate simple ceremony on the occasion of the Sixth Annual Reunion of the Kuntz Family, held at that revered place, Sunday, July 24, 1929.
